Tauihu Media’s feature film project WERO: Ultimate Challenge was chosen to participate in the 2012 Beijing International Film Festival’s Pitch & Catch of Sino-Foreign Film Co-productions, taking place on the 24th & 25th of April 2012.
The China Film Coproduction Corporation (CFCC) picked WERO: Ultimate Challenge as one of 32 projects for the Pitch & Catch from submissions from around the world. CFCC is the sole agency authorized by the Chinese government’s State Administration of Film, Radio and Television (SARFT) to administer coproductions in China.
Tauihu Media producer Tui Ruwhiu will attend the Festival from 23 – 28 April 2012 to pitch WERO to potential investors and Chinese coproduction partners in one-on-one meetings.
This latest development is the second of Tauihu Media’s forays into China in the last six months as it seeks to further strengthen its position in the increasingly globally significant China film market.
